This page explains what the Conquest website (conquest.ps) keeps about you, why, and for how long. It covers the website, including the store and the vote page, not the game itself.
The short version
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we never sell your details.
We keep only what the store and voting need to work, and what helps us stop abuse.
Payments are taken by Stripe, PayPal or NOWPayments on their own pages. Your card number never reaches us.
IP addresses are stored encrypted and deleted after 90 days. After that we keep only a one-way fingerprint.
When you buy something
We keep:
the in-game name you enter, what you bought, the price, and when you paid;
your name, email address and payer ID as the payment provider reports them to us, stored encrypted;
the IP address the order was placed from, and the IP address and PC identifier the game reports when you type ::claim, all stored encrypted;
the messages the payment provider sends us about your payment.
We need these to deliver your items, to answer questions about an order, for our accounts, and to deal with fraud and chargebacks.
When you vote
We keep:
the in-game name you vote for, and when;
a one-way fingerprint of your network's IP address (not the address itself), so each player and each network can vote once every 12 hours;
the IP address and PC identifier the game reports when you type ::claimvote, stored encrypted.
The vote itself happens on RuneLocus, which has its own privacy policy.
In your browser
The store and the vote page remember your in-game name and your cart in your browser's local storage, so you don't have to type them again. They stay on your device: clearing your browser's data for this site removes them. The site itself sets no cookies; our hosting and bot-check providers may set short-lived technical cookies that protect the site from bots.
How long we keep things
IP addresses and PC identifiers from orders and votes: 90 days. After that only a one-way fingerprint stays, so repeated abuse can still be spotted.
Messages from the payment providers: 180 days.
The log of vote confirmations from RuneLocus: 90 days (only daily totals are kept after that).
Orders and votes themselves (in-game name, items, amounts, dates): kept for our records and so the game can deliver them.
Encrypted backups of the database: 30 days.
Keeping it safe
Payer details and IP addresses are encrypted in our database. Only a few staff can see them, after signing in with Discord and a second factor, and every staff action is recorded.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] from the address you paid with, or include your order number. Some records, such as payments, we have to keep for as long as the law requires.
Changes
If this page changes, the new version appears here. Questions: [email protected]. Conquest is not affiliated with Jagex Ltd.
